Thank you to all of our sponsors, partners, and attendees who made "An Evening with Nicholas McCarthy" a huge success.

During his few days here Nicholas did a concert for Morning Pointe Assisted Living residents, a concert for students at Unity Center After School program, talked with Cleveland State music majors, did a performance for donors, performed for over 900 middle and high school students, and played during the Rotary Gala.

Please check out the picture page to see all those who were inspired by his visit.

Nicholas McCarthy was born without his right hand and through sheer talent and determination, rose above the many obstacles and discouragement to pursue his love of the piano. Studying at the Royal College of Music in London, he is the only one-handed pianist to graduate from this prestigious school.

As one of just a few soloists with a disability, Nicholas is a champion of the dynamic and brave world of left-hand alone repertoire, which developed rapidly following World War I because of injuries suffered on the battlefield. Performing extensively around the world in some of the most prestigious concert halls across the globe, Nicholas’s concert performances, recordings and media features have gained him critical acclaim.
